In the first episode of Hi! BPD Healthcare Insights, Chief Strategy Officer Jason Brown and Senior Account Manager Pam Powers discuss the importance of creating a culture within your healthcare organization that empowers internal brand ambassadors. By turning employees into trusted brand ambassadors, hospitals and health systems bring their most valuable assets and their most passionate internal advocates in direct contact with their customers.
It’s important to remember that everyone in your organization, from the lowest paid to the highest, can advocate for your brand to your patients and their families. Making sure everyone understands and agrees with your brand’s Purpose is essential, and giving them a voice in steering the drafting of your Purpose does wonders in making them ardent believers. In any event, staying true to your Purpose, as well as maintaining a culture of teamwork, is crucial in unifying your organization and taking it to the next level.
Christine is a Social Media Strategist at BPD. She’s spent the last decade working on creative healthcare marketing and communications strategies that not only impact the bottom-line, but better engage each stage of the patient journey.
